Our Evaluations

Our goal is not only to understand how the brain is functioning, but to deliver practical, personalized recommendations that improve daily life at home, in school, and beyond.

The following are some, but not all, of the conditions evaluated in our assessments:

Conditions evaluated

Neurodevelopmental and Cognitive Conditions

Our evaluations are designed to assess a broad range of cognitive and neurodevelopmental challenges across the lifespan. These include common conditions such as Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), and various learning disorders, including dyslexia, dyscalculia, and dysgraphia.

Medical, Behavioral, and Emotional Factors
Our assessments also provide insight into more complex neurological and psychological conditions. These conditions may include chronic medical or mental health disorders, genetic disorders, seizures, brain injury, stroke, and dementia. Our evaluations assess the impact of these complex conditions upon cognition and adaptive skills.
Autism Only Evaluation

Given lengthy waits at local institutions and the impact of delayed intervention, NeuroBehavioral Associates offers an Autism Only Assessment.  This assessment is geared toward early diagnosis and intervention for toddlers and preschoolers with suspected Autism Spectrum Disorder.  Our Autism Only Assessments can be scheduled within two weeks, and our team provides a rapid turnaround on reports, generally less than ten days.

Our Autism Only Assessments are completed by highly experienced, licensed psychologists and neuropsychologists.  The Autism Only Assessment includes completion of a developmental history, observation, checklists such as the Autism Spectrum Rating Scales, and administration of the Autism Diagnostic Observation Schedule – 2 (ADOS-2).  The assessment is completed in one visit and our report includes a DSM-5-TR/ICD-10 diagnostic formulation and recommendations.  For more information, please contact our office.
