Assessment Services
Neuropsychological Assessment
NeuroBehavioral Associates provides comprehensive neuropsychological assessment for children, adolescents, and adults with known or suspected cognitive, learning, or neurodevelopmental differences. Assessments are aimed at providing differential diagnoses, assessment of strengths and weaknesses, and the formation of an effective intervention plan. Our assessments are geared to provide practical and specific recommendations to support children and adolescents in school, at home, and in their communities.
Our assessments include an in-depth interview with the child’s or adolescent’s parents, collection of a detailed neurodevelopmental history, interview with the patient, and administration of a series of standardized tests.
Following test administration, scoring, and report preparation, our neuropsychologist will meet with the child’s family to describe all test findings, diagnoses, patterns of strengths and weaknesses, and recommendations. This meeting typically requires 90 minutes and occurs three to four weeks following the completion of testing. For adolescents and young adults, it may be helpful to meet separately to provide a description of findings consistent with their age and understanding.
NeuroBehavioral Associates will provide a hard copy written report and protected digital report for our clients.
