Autism Speaks Walk on Wheels
This fall, we are happy to sponsor the Autism Speaks Baltimore Walk on Wheels (WOW)– an organized interactive car parade and drive-in festival. The car parade is inspired by the car parades that have brought joy to so many during these times of social distancing. We are offering this option and more to convene our community, while safely spread apart, as we hit the road to celebrate together.
Saturday, October 31 at the T. Rowe Price, Owings Mills campus, our teams will have two start time options (1 pm or 2 pm) to participate in a Halloween car parade. All participants must be pre-registered online to adhere to safety guidelines and avoid person to person contact as much as possible.
As the cars (decorated cars are encouraged!) drive-through, they will stop at our sponsor Trunk or Treats, a Photo Op Stop, goody bag giveaway and shirt pickup (if qualified). To add to the festivities, a themed scavenger hunt will take place throughout the route.
You are encouraged to dress up in costume and decorate your cars. Please arrive at least 30 minutes before your scheduled start time of 1 pm or 2 pm to secure your place in line and have time to decorate your car (add balloons, signs, other décor).
All participants in your car must be pre-registered on our event website under your team to attend the Walk on Wheels event. If you are registered as an individual and not a team captain, and others are joining you, please have them register as individuals.
*We ask that all teams participating in W.O.W raise a minimum of $50 to support the mission of Autism Speaks.
