Learning disabilities such as dyslexia are extremely common impacting, almost 20% of US children today. This can lead to feelings of inadequacy, embarrassment, and frustration.

Social Isolation

Social isolation can be another result of dyslexia, as children may feel the need to separate themselves from their peers as they cannot keep up in the classroom.   • Playing word & spelling games
  • Private tutors can help build up your child’s confidence and support their learning
  • Make reading fun! Take a trip to the library so your child can find books they are interested in.
  • Repetition of skills and words
  • Putting words to song!
